Site Map for users - html instead of xml?
I want a site map for my users.
I have the xml sitemap set up for search engines, but it does no good for my users to find their way around. Also have the 'Archives' link which is a decent sitemap of just the forums. But, evidently vBulletin's "integrated" cms, forums, and blogs, doesn't have an "integrated" sitemap for forum users. Fabulous. So now I'm looking for some sort of plug-in or hack that will create a usable sitemap that I can have easily accessible from my navbar for all users. I searched the forums and didn't find anything for 4.0.3 that remotely looks like what I want. Anyone have any suggestions? Site details: running vB 4.0.3, no mods added so far, using the default theme. (boring I know, but trying to avoid additional issues to deal with so I'm trying to go SIMPLE) Thanks. |

Thanks for the link, that's perfect.
edited to add.... close to perfect. The html sitemap that it generates is actually redundant (same pages listed multiple times) and it doesn't include blogs. So looked like just what I needed for a minute. So back to original request, anyone up for building me a custom mod that will create a content specific sitemap generator in html? By content specific I mean: I can give a list of the parameters to include and the ones to leave out so that the links aren't repeated. And if so, how much will it cost? |

The one I did will shows all forums that the user is allow to see from the forumhome. So, if the CMS stuff is visible to them on the forumhime, then it should be visible to then in the sitemap. It uses permissions.

CMS stuff is totally different, Bob. Different tables and everything. So, I don't know that your's will cover that.
