4.0 User avatar PNG option?
Hey there all,
Can someone tell me how to allow the users of my forum to upload PNG avatar's please? I have been using vbulletin for some time and can not find this option lol? Any help here will be greatly appreciated Paul |

Yeah I have them set so they can but when they upload they have white BG's?

Yeah If the members use direct link option then they get a white background on the image.. Yes using GD..

If you have a Dark Skin this is normal for a image with transparent background under GD
i had the same problem some time ago Could be wrong but am sure this happend to me Can you link me a image you have tryed and i will test myself Mike |

I think ImageMajik handles PNGs better than GD, doesn"t it? I have a PNG header logo that is transparent on the default blue header background and it looks fine. But I use ImageMajik on the server so that might be part of it.
