Featured Thread widget for sidebar

[iweeducation]

I was wondering if there is a widget already or if someone could make one, so that way you could have in the moderation list to set a thread as a Featured thread, which would appear in a widget in the sidebar on the FORUM (not CMS), have 5 threads show at once. I was searching and could not find anything like this.
