Announcing Forum Runner - vBulletin Android/iPhone/iPad App
Developer Last Online: Apr 2014
Introducing Forum Runner for the iPhone/iPad/Android vBulletin!
Forum Runner now supports ANDROID Devices!!! http://www.forumrunner.com What is Forum Runner? Forum Runner is a vBulletin mod that allows your users to browse your forum using a native Android/iPhone/iPad client. This means faster access for those users since it only downloads the actual forum information rather than all the extraneous images that slow down the mobile connection. Forum Runner now supports the iPad natively! Download the Forum Runner app once and support both iPhone and iPad versions in one universal app! iOS 4 multitasking on the iPhone is fully supported by Forum Runner. Forum Runner is FREE for forum owners to install, and takes less than 5 minutes. The client for the iPhone/iPad/Android costs 1.99$ which is LESS THAN THE COMPETITORS, and has more features. Please see the list below for full information on Forum Runner's features. Forum Runner inherits all the security built into vBulletin, so users running Forum Runner will only be able to see the same forums and threads as they could using a regular browser. There are instructions posted when you create your Forum Runner account at http://www.forumrunner.net.
If you have any questions, email support@forumrunner.net. Short version: Download the add-on, unzip it into your main forum directory (it will create a directory 'forumrunner' underneath it where all the files are). Go into vBulletin Control Panel, Product Manager, import new product. Import file './forumruner/product-forumrunner.xml' (make sure 'Overwrite' is set to Yes). After that, create account at http://www.forumrunner.net/?p=register to register your forum in the directory. once that's done, you're good to go! |

Thanks Clemson,
You'll have to excuse me for not creating an account on your site yet. I'm just trying to install this for one of our other admins. I'll tell him to sign-up there and register our site as soon as I get this installed (since he's the one that wants it). I've followed your instructions, but get this error at the top of the screen after importing and enabling the product file: PHP Code:

https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthrea...t=forum+runner Since you installed 3.7 accidentally you will want to "Uninstall" the "Forum Runner" product from the admin CP->Product Manager, and follow install instructions using the proper bundle! |

Daaaah... well, that's embarrassing, isn't it? That's what happens when someone sends you a direct link to the mod they want installed. Maybe you could link each version number to their respective threads, though. Might save others from making the same mistake:
