Managing CMS images
Hi All,
I have been working through a VB demo trying to figure out if the CMS can support the features I need. I have been able to create a new article but when testing image capabilies have struck problems. When trying to upload an image from my local PC, the upload interface presents an login prompt again. After entering the loign info, selecting a file and hitting the upload button Firefox 3.0 locks up completely. It must be forced shut and restarted. This hang does not happen with IE8. I was told by sales to go to settings/options/message attachment options and disable the asset manager. This did not make any difference to Firefox nor the way the interface behaved. At first the article did not appear as the first position on the main screen. In fact it didn't appear at all. When it did appear the image was cut in half width wise. Eventually after several logins it appeared in total. Regarding functionality... - Is there a way to rescale an uploaded image to VB? - What determines when an image is shown in the body of the article as an preview image or simply as an attachment? Can this behavior be changed? Somewhere I saw interface that allows the position of the image within the text to be set. Can anyone point me to where I find this again? Also I have checked all the manuals I can find and can't find a detailed description of the image upload and position settings process. Does a reference document exist? Thanks in advance. --------------- Added [DATE]1271543649[/DATE] at [TIME]1271543649[/TIME] --------------- OK, I can see how objects including images can be justified left, center, right using the WYSIWYG editor. What I am trying to find again is the tool that offers the text wrapping options around the pictures. |

Questions regarding the demo or default vBulletin options should be asked in either a sales ticket or on the official company forums at vBulletin.com.
vBulletin.org has nothing to do with the demo on vBulletin.com |
