Wordpress has this nifty feature where it auto saves the post while you type it, and it's very useful for long posts (common on forums as well)

Is there a way to auto save posts as users type it, in vBulletin?

I don't really think this is the server's responsibility - I mean, look at the added load - you'd have to monitor each character typed! Rather, it should be a default feature in browsers.

Firefox has Lazarus. But I've had some trouble with it and have it disabled right now.
