Application/attachment file icon set.
I've searched for this, and know I can't be the only one who's done the search, but can't hit on an answer. One of my clients has an artist site that allows attachment file types such as .ai, .cdr, .eps, and other non-default filetypes. I understand the process of allowing a new filetype, but what's becoming a headache is creating a 16x16 pixel image to associate to that filetype each time a new filetype is added. He's up to about 16 different non-default filetypes now and for each one it requires taking the logo of the program and making an icon out of it so the users don't get a red X beside the file in the post. I know I'm not the only one that has gone through this. These icons have probably been created 1000 times before now, but I'll be danged if I can find a collection of non-default icons. Does anybody have a clue where to source these, or should I just keep making them myself?

I just had a quick look around the net, found one free download set for you, sorry honey but I ran out of time to keep searching, you can download the set I found here: http://customize.org/icons/43393
Additionally, you can search that site for icons here: http://customize.org/browse/power?so...SC&search=icon |

Thanks very much for the links. I found a couple I could use at the second link within just a few pages. They had to be resized down from 256x256 to 16x16, but that's a lot easier than creating them from scratch. There's many, many pages I haven't even looked at yet, and I've bookmarked that site for future reference. Thanks again.
