website integration
Hello,
I want to integrate vbulletin with a website. Since it's easier i decided to use the users table of s vbulletin. As far as i know it's easy to add a new user. I know that the password encryption follows this convention: md5(md5('password') . salt). The problem is with the login. I want to be able to login the user from the main website(the forum is in a subfolder called FORUM) but i need to know what cookies to set in order to have that user logged in(ill do my own validation). P.S. Is it possible to add php code to templates? Later Edit: I managed to get it done using curl. Now i need answer only to the "add php to templates" question. |

Just use a hook to add PHP. You can figure out where the hooks are by opening up the .php files of the site, depending on when you want to fire the code. How did you end up achieving the integration? I'm looking to do the same thing with an ASP.net site.
