So, how would using this enable me to cut down spam registrations on my forum? Could I use this as a means of being able to disable forum registration but if a user clicks through a referral link, can access the registration page? I'd like to go from open registration to referral only to explicitly cut down on spam registrations.

Its not working with vB 4.1.3. After link click users can register, but form "referrer" is empty, and after register referrer isnt added to profile of user.
