Adding add ons and products?

How do i know where to upload files to the my server database from add-ons and products?

Am I right to assume admincp files goes in admincp and includes files go into include?

My problem in i see so many files in these folders, i get lost on which goes where.

Any one find a general how to on adding products and add-ons for the lower leveled forum admin?

My forum builder left me high and dry and now i do not know what I am doing. Nor do I have money to pay for it. Nor do I trust anyone to make them admin so they can help.....
