Mod Request: Section Descriptions
Is there any mod out there for vBulletin 4.xx Suite that allows for descriptions of sections. The only real purpose to this is to have the description display at the top of the section page.
Either this, or headers to appear at the top of each section. I think "Descriptions" might be easier. Ideas? |

Hi,
I was searching for this too, and the solution/hack is pretty simple: you can make use of the meta description of the section ! So, edit your template vbcms_content_section_page and put this: {vb:raw vboptions.description} somewhere under your title ({vb:raw title}), after the </h1> have fun! |

nice idea, where do you input the new descriptions for the sections, or is there already something for this ?

In the meta description field of the section, if you do it like I did,
the downside is that the description of the section is always the same as the meta description |

mod requests have their own category this is not the thread for asking for a new mod
try paid requests or unpaid requests |
