I am not 100% sure that vBulletin 3.7 will work with PHP 5.3.1, it is an older version that was released before this PHP version. You can best ask this on the vBulletin.com forums.
Alternative would be to try with a newer vBulletin version or an older PHP. |

I did remember there was such a limitation but i forgot about the details. That thread sums it up, either go to a newer vBulletin version (3.8.4 or higher) or downgrade PHP.
