How can I have certain tabs light up based on what pages I am on. Such as vb4 does and vBulletin.org does?

Hmm didn't think that would matter I am going to be working on a custom theme so it doesnt really matter what ideas people could give me. I have been thinking about using a php statement that will check on which page the use is viewing and checking by that. So if the user is on forumdisplay is will highlight the tab "forum" I want to create a navbar system like vBulletin 4.0 but am having issues getting it to work right. I am usually pretty good with this stuff i figured out how to make it work pretty good in about 20 minutes outside of vBulletin but while using the vBuleltin template system its kind of fustrating.

the template conditional: Code: <if condition="THIS_SCRIPT == 'something'"> highlighted tab code goes here <else> non highlighted tab code goes here </if> THIS_SCRIPT is defined in the various .php files in your vb installation. You can open each in notepad or simlar to find it. |
