I am not sure what it is I am looking for even but it takes a common URL http://xxxxx.xx and turns that link into "the website"

Some kind of rewrite and I did do the .htaccess thing without any luck... any clues?

No idea what you ar saying. Maybe Change the URL rewrite in the admincp settings then your htaccess trick will work

I have used boards where I copied and pasted a URL..

http://thebusa.com would post as The Suzuki Hayabusa for instance..

The URL rewrite is checked in the admin page already as well
