Styles & Templates > Selected Style > Edit Templates > CCS Templates > Search.css.

Search for:
#searchtypeswitcher li a {

#searchtypeswitcher li.selected a {

#searchtypeswitcher li a:hover {

Change the bg color to whatever you want the color to be.
