Search function not operating correctly
Hi guys,
I just upgraded my #1 community to 4.0 from 3.8.4 mostly so I could install some new plug ins. The community seems to really dislike it so far so it will need some tweaks and I think I can get them to come around. The biggest single thing is the search function isn't operating correctly, very limited results. It seems to not have indexed correctly and is only showing results since the upgrade. I poked through the adminCP and can't seem to find a place where I can have it re-index the database to have search once again.. This is crucial to my community, if anyone has suggestions... thanks, Andre --------------- Added [DATE]1266113319[/DATE] at [TIME]1266113319[/TIME] --------------- Also the cP doesn't seem to be different from the old CP as far as I can tell. I am bummed that I can't easily make color changes to the new style/template as well unless there is something I am missing? Or does it have to be done in the code.. thank you guys... |

Yes, I had to rebuild my search index after the upgrade. AdminCP>Maintenance>Update Counters> Rebuild Search Index. You probably want to set your search options first.
My AdminCP style remained the same also. Color changes are done in CSS now, but that's about all I know about it. |
