Hi, I see there have been ohter posts on this subject and indeed they point to an add on but damage is done by that point i have identified atleast fifty people this guy has got on my forum through pm's, it has brought my server and forum to a grinding halt.
I'm just about to update to VB4, and im concerned it will just carry over, what can i do? My experience in VB is enough to get me into trouble so im no expert, spam contains a link and seems to be a paperclip spam pointing to an alturl dot com site. Before the update is there a way to remove and delete all pm's on the forum? Any help appreciated. |

Ahh Thanks ChopSuey, what about the ones that this guy has allready posted in the PM system waiting for someone to open their PM when logging into the forum this guy has managed to get hundreds of my members.
I'm concerned that this rubbish is going to transfer to my VB4.0 upgrade next week. Any useful bits of advice you guys/gals might be able to share with me? |
