I need to drop some tables, and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to do so. Can someone walk me through this? Please?

Do you mean db tables? The easiest way would be to do so at the phpmyadmin at the cp of your host. Click on the db that you want to drop tables from, select the list of db tables that you want to drop and all the way to the bottom where it says "With Selected", choose the Drop command and hit the Go button. But make first a backup of those tables or even betetr of the whole db before you drop the tables.
