Navbar with images

[Drareg]

The standard Navbar comes with text links and pulldown menu's, I have made an css code so I could change the background when I go over the link. But it's far from nice

It's now like this:
Attachment 111689

I want something like this:
Attachment 111690

Or with images, but if somthing like the second attachment is possible that would be nice.
