[VB4noob]Need sugestiosn to organize the structure of the site
Hello All,
I´m planning to build my gaming site on VB4 with CMS, but I have some doubts on what is the best way to organize forum sections / categories for a good flexbility and keep the content organized. 1) What are sections best used for? 2) How about categories? I mean, I want to talk about specific games, let´s say(just examples): Company of Heroes, Battleground Europe and X-COM. These are best divided into sections? If I want to divide them into Reviews, Articles, Videos, these should be categories? 3) If a user wants to see all videos of the site, he can just click VIDEOS, but, what about if the user want to see only Company of Heroes VIDEOS, how can I separate that in a good way? Sorry for some noobish questions, but I´m building a site and still learning how to deal wit the CMS, I would like to ask another questions if you guys are eager to help. thank you |

Its always better to look around other forum structure around web to get a start, once you gain popularity, your forum community will give an idea what it wants and find its own path. For now be inspired by other online gaming communities

Thanks for the reply. It´s a good tip to take a look around, but sometimes it´s not so clear how the site divides and modularize it´s content. I´m in doubt specially about question 3) still.
