I want to make simple changes to my forum.
Let's start very simple. I want the top of the page to say "Hi Bob" I am lost in a wonderland of code, poor search engine results, and poor forum search results. After hours of searching and reading, as well as experimenting which included examining and modifying php files and blundering through the 'template management' system.. I have installed vbadvanced to no avail, assuming that a fancy Content Management System (CMS) might allow me to easily make the top of the page say, "Hi Bob" I just need to know where to go in order to change content of a forum. A link to a guide will be great if it uses clear language and actually goes straight to the problem of how to manage content. How to make it say, "Hi bob" |
