I activated it via VB settings but nothing appears on the defaul skin, or my custom downloaded skin.

Is there anything else I need to set to make it appear on my fourm home?

You also need to go into " Forums & Moderators" Then " Forum Block Manager" and activate the ones you want. That got me aswell.
