I have a forum that mainly non-technical computer users will use. I'd prefer for usernames to be in the format of the first letter of each word being capitalized (titlecase). Right now as it stands, new users fall into two groups; all lowercase or all uppercase.

Can you anyone do this for vb 3.8.x ?

What is a word in a username?

What about the name: "testuser"

1 word? 2 words?

Spaces would seperate if the word has a capital or not.

So for example:

Two Words
Oneword

I would like it to be a transparent as possible to the user, rather than using regex to force them to make it capital since most would just complain that they cant register.

You could create a plugin that fires when a new user is created and use ucwords() to make the first character of each word uppercase.

, in the past i did release a modification, but it was just a code modification of another modification.

PS Please realize that not all words in a name should be capitalized. For example the word "van" in my name is really wrong if it would be spelled with an upper-case first character.

Yeah in know. The site im using this on is a family website that can't be viewed by non family members.
