Hello!
New to vB4 and have hit the decorating ground running. Not doing too shabby except for a few minor things, one being a "common" issue. I've added two extra backgrounds to my forum, one on the sides and an actual footer. To add the side background, I added a new class called "side_wrapper" to the common header template and closed it in the common footer template, where I added and closed the actual footer background, as well. The styling for both is in additional.css. Works flawlessly on the forum itself. And looks lovely, if I do say so myself. ![]() The problem is, when I go to any page aside from the forum, like editing my user profile, for example, the sides and footer disappear. I surmise I must add their classes to additional templates, but I have no idea to which ones. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a bunch! ![]() |

They forgot to include the additional.css in the USER_CP template. Open that template, find this:
HTML Code:
</head>
HTML Code:
{vb:raw headinclude_bottom} |

Lynne, thank you!
I don't have a USER_CP template. I have USERCP and USERCP_SHELL. USERCP did not have the </head> tag, so I added your code to USERCP_SHELL, which does. Seems to have worked like a charm! I'd have never thunk to put it there on my own. Thank you again! ![]() |

Whoops, sorry, I can't remember the names of all the templates. Glad you found it though.
