How to clear VB Mail Que System..

Our mail setting was set wrong in forum come to find out, we switched it over to send with locking well now it's sending a CRAP loud of old emails. How can I just clear out the mail que so it starts fresh. It has sent like 16,000+ messages in 12 hours to say the least some users are getting a bit ticked off..

I have no idea where vb stores mail it wants to send i just need a simple way to clear this out..

Oh trust me I have done that but VB just keeps adding to it. Right now its sending mail from 4/2009 because the server I moved from the mail server had issues so its like its all backed up in vb not the mail server..

vBulletin does have a mail queue. I'm not sure what the standard process is, but this should do the trick -

TRUNCATE TABLE mailqueue;

can I run that from phpmy admin?

Yep, just be sure to prepend your table prefix if you have one configured.

How do I do that by chance.. I don't want to mess any thing up..

BTW the mailque in phpmyadmin says
Showing rows 0 - 29 (526,150 total, Query took 0.0357 sec)

526,150 emails I think looks to be one per line..

Yeah - it's one per line. Disregard my last post if you found the table. If you are in phpMyAdmin, just empty the table as you normally would any other table.

ok now i just got this error trying testing my news letter:

Post the whole error... and you didn't delete the table did you? Just emptied it?
