Moving forum thread to social group

Hi folks,

I am not sure that what I want to do is possible but I would appreciate a little help if possible. I am trying to move a thread from the forum to a social group discussion.

Since installing the mod that shows subscribed views on the forum home I have found the groups far more useful. What I want to do now though is to move some existing posts into the social groups that my users have set up.

Perhaps this is an idea for a modification? Perhaps not. I would appreciate the thoughts of others
