When a mod or admin deletes a thread, it is nigh impossible to tell in the New Posts display that the thread has been deleted for other mods to see. Is there a CSS variable I can add to make the thread stand out in such a way that marks it as deleted?

TBH, I didnt know they even showed up in a search, thats sounds wrong to me, are you sure they do ?

Yes, for Admins and Mods they do. They show when you search for New Posts or Today's Posts.
