i try to search but i can't find any country flag modification for 3.8.4...help please...i badly need it..thanks

Most likely the ones for 3.6 will work just fine for 3.8. Try it on your test site and see.

Yeah, template edits between the 3.0 versions, for the most part anyway, don't really matter all that much. Especially template edits from 3.6 to 3.8. Most of those template mods have multiple threads across the vB version sections, and all the same instructions.
