html code placed inside poll options field

All of a sudden my code to create weekly voting does not work. The same code worked from 2003 until October 2009. Then when we purchased the website from the original creator, and updated vB and Photopost, we had to change the path of the pictures in the code because Photopost changed where they place their thumbnails.

So, I made the path changes and all seemed to work when I posted last weeks POTW voting.
In this case I set the poll to multiple choice and on the 4th, 8th and 12th picture I pasted a link to a graphic that lead those voting to believe they were only allowed to vote one in each category. Its working so far.

But then the other day I tried to create Photo of the Year voting with the simple code below

But when I created a new forum poll and the same code with only changes to the file location and width and height of the photo, it did not work. So, to test it I paste that same code above from Oct 2009 and no pictures showed up, just the following text????
All this was fine the other day but now its just not working.

Any ideas? I can't create my POTY and also once Thursday comes along, wont be able to post my POTW
