Changing Private Album to Public is broken

My forum is on 3.8.2

I'm having an intermittent problem with switching user albums from private to public where the album will then not show up in the "Recently Added Albums" view.

I'm having problems reproducing this with an album I create, but I've seen it several times where a user will create a private album and I'll go in and change it to public for them and it won't update the Recent Album list.

Any ideas?

In order to fix an issue, you need to be able to reproduce it. Try it on your test site and see if you can get it to happen. If this is on a default board (no mods), then you should post it in the bug tracker, however you need to give detailed instructions on how to reproduce it so they can fix it.

Thanks Lynn. The problem exists so I'm hoping someone else has a solution or at least can confirm a similar problem. I can't be the only one!

The other thing is, that with these broken private galleries, just switching them to public doesn't display them. The only thing that seems to display them on my end is if I add a new image to the gallery after i set it to public. Then a thumbnail appears in the recent gallery view.

Thoughts?
