Creating a new style
Hey guys!
Im trying to create a brand new style, and ive started making new images for new thread, and reply etc... but im a bit stuck... vbulletin doesnt exactly have a great tutorial out there for skinning, and the blogs they made arent really helpful. This is what ive been working on: http://img710.imageshack.us/img710/5...ttonsstyle.jpg But from there i dont really know where to go... Im not sure how to compile everything into an .xml or what other images i have to create etc... Ive tried using the wave example style vbulletin provided but thats not really helping :P Could someone help me please?? Thanks, |

Hi,
You should seperate it into some folder images as VBB does like button, misc etc. And sure, what you want to replace, use the same name as VBB does. You can replace almost images and the skins just need to modify templates, CSS. The templates and CSS can be modified by admincp, what and where must be edited you should read the other post. The best way to practice is view source and search in templates =D You can use default style to edit then export to xml. |

You cannot use the new post images with 4.0
