Complete NEWB needs help!!
I founded and owned a site previous to this one, but had someone else handling ALL the back-room work (setting colors, banners, logos, skins, etc.), and need help learning how to do this for myself.
Are there any tutorials for a complete beginner? I know my way around the more common FOH stuff in the admincp, but don't know the first thing about the following: Changing board colors Removing vbulletin logo and replacing with my own (header) Keeping the same colors throughout the entire CMS system Can anyone help, or point me in the right direction? Thanks -Gregory |

You should start by reading all of Don's articles and blogs over on vb.com. Start by reading Don's blog entries and download the StyleVar Dictionary and the Skinning guide: vB4: Skinning Your Forum in 10 Easy Steps and StyleVar Visual Dictionary for Forum, Blog, and CMS (PDF Documents)

Thank you so very much for your help!! Truth is, I'm trying to bring this up in the next day or two so I can advertise it at a bridal fair going on Sunday. It wouldn't look good if I still have the vBulletin logo on the board.
Whew! |
