I just purchased vB4 and I am working on converting my old site over to this one. I made an application that posted the information entered in the form to our officer forums.

There are much more tables to deal with in vB and I don't wanna mess up my database just messing around testing. Is there a function call I can use to post info into the forums from another location just passing the body and board id? If not what tables/fields need to be inserted/updated for me to post these application like I did in smf?

Also is there anything in vB4 that conflicts with jquery? I have been having some issues using jquery functions. I have the source files added to the headerinclude template and have used the jQuery.noConflict(); call but it hasn't seemed to make a difference.
