What Mod is this?
I apologize as I am sure to get the terminology incorrect here... There is a vB site that has a modification that I am trying to find. I have been unable to get a reply from the owner of that site, nor have I been able to find something like that in the Mods section of this site. If anyone can point me in the right direction, I would greatly appreciate it.
Here is a link to a thread on the site I am referring to: http://www.rimfirecentral.com/forums...d.php?t=314696 On that site he has taken the member information column normally found on the left of a thread posting and made it horizontal across the top of the posting. You will notice that some members have things like Fire Fighter logos or NRA logos, etc. These are controlled by what you select in your profile. If I go to my user profile and say I am a Police Officer, a badge will appear over every posting. Granted, it is an honor system thing but kind of neat. These are based entirely on custom profile fields. Does anyone know what mad this is? Thanks! |

To get memeber info on top - vboptions > Style & Language Settings > Use Legacy (Vertical) Postbit Template > No
Those items could just be a user profile field that shows an image based on what is selected. There is an article in the vb3 section on how to add those to the postbit (search postbit in titles only in there). Just change to the vb4 syntax. |

Lynne - Thanks...got me on the right track. This vB 4 does the exact same thing I was looking for (obviously different images/fields) but the PostBit search helped me find it.
