News Email monthly or weekly to registered users

It would be nice to have a mod to email users weekly or monthly at the admin settings to all users registered on your forum this would pull all the new articles/blogs/threads and give a preview like type of email even if it only pulled the latest 10 and ad most popular threads etc... So I ask if someone would love to take on this task. I know there used to be one I think it was vb3.6 but can't remember.
