Dear Friends,

i am a totally newcomer in the world of vbulletin. i bought recently the publishing suite 4.0 in order to create a forum for a friend of mine. this is the first time i am going to use one of vbulletin's products. i was given the choice to download both the vbulletin 3.8.4 and the suite 4.0. however, i don't know if i should install the vbulletin 3.8.4 or the suite. i just want to create the forum, do i need the cms/blog etc features of the suite?is the forum feature the same in suite 4.0 as in 3.8.4? the installation process of the suite is the same as decribed in the 3.8.4 manual?if i install the suite, can i work only with the forum part of it? i remind you that i have only the 3.8.4 manual available and nothing for the 4.0...

I'd say install version 4.

If you don't want to use the cms or blog you can disable either or both of them in essence giving you just the forum software itself.

It is not a VB3 engine, just a parsed copy!
