How to decide what Style Var relates to forum layout
Hi all, I'm completely new to styling VB. Could someone please give me some tips on how it's best to find out exactly what style var relates to elements of the forum. Is it just trial and error or are they some techniques out there. For example: I've been trying to change the page body colour from the default pale blue and I can't for the life of me find it in the list of variables. Any help and advice would be great.
Thanks Simon |

For simple skin edits like doc_background you can refer the following pdfs
http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/entry...F-Documents%29 Alternatively when you get beyond the basics do this: Install firefox, install firebug extension, click firebug lauch icon, click inspect element arrow icon, click on element. You can find out the tag name and the corresponding stylevar. There was a detailed tutorial on vb.org as well I think. |
