Mysql database error

I have just changed hosts, my IbProArcade was running fine until the switch-over, now I am getting the following error messages when I try to access my arcade link.

Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Access denied for user: 'xxxxx@localhost' (Using password: YES) in [path]/arcade/functions/dbclass.php on line 44

Warning: mysql_select_db(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL-Link resource in [path]/arcade/functions/dbclass.php on line 47
ERROR: Cannot find database xxxxxx_xxxx
Warning: mysql_query(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL-Link resource in [path]/arcade/functions/dbclass.php on line 209

Database errors are not my specialty, but I'd recommend re-installing the arcade the same way you would as if you were upgrading it and see if you still run into the problem. At least as a starting point.

Thanks DJ for your reply. I have tried a reinstall but still experiencing the same. It must be some sort of configuration script in my config.php file but it's like finding a needle in a haystack.
