Database error
Okay, my clients site is getting a db error whenever you go to a certian forum, same for when you click on a members name.
At first i thought it was vbseo for vb 4 but after doing a fresh install and turning the plugin off it still happens. Also the site was using a different version of vb untill her old webmaster upgraded it to 4. Forum db error: Code:
Database error in vBulletin 4.0.0: Invalid SQL: SELECT IF(votenum >= 1, votenum, 0) AS votenum, IF(votenum >= 1 AND votenum > 0, votetotal / votenum, 0) AS voteavg, post.pagetext AS preview, thread.threadid, thread.title AS threadtitle, thread.forumid, pollid, open, postusername, postuserid, thread.iconid AS threadiconid, thread.dateline, notes, thread.visible, sticky, votetotal, thread.attach, thread.lastpost, thread.lastposter, thread.lastposterid, thread.lastpostid, thread.replycount, IF(thread.views<=thread.replycount, thread.replycount+1, thread.views) AS views, thread.prefixid, thread.taglist, hiddencount, deletedcount, user.usergroupid, user.homepage, user.options AS useroptions, IF(userlist.friend = 'yes', 1, 0) AS isfriend , deletionlog.userid AS del_userid, deletionlog.username AS del_username, deletionlog.reason AS del_reason , threadread.readtime AS threadread , threadredirect.expires FROM thread AS thread LEFT JOIN user AS user ON (user.userid = thread.lastposterid) LEFT JOIN userlist AS userlist ON (userlist.relationid = user.userid AND userlist.type = 'buddy' AND userlist.userid = 5495) LEFT JOIN deletionlog AS deletionlog ON(thread.threadid = deletionlog.primaryid AND deletionlog.type = 'thread') LEFT JOIN threadread AS threadread ON (threadread.threadid = thread.threadid AND threadread.userid = 5495) LEFT JOIN post AS post ON(post.postid = thread.firstpostid) LEFT JOIN threadredirect AS threadredirect ON(thread.open = 10 AND thread.threadid = threadredirect.threadid) WHERE thread.threadid IN (0,41147,38358,24113,41161,40981,41093,41159,40872,41158,41136,41080,41140,38931,40236,40752,40839,41095,41102,40694,41096,40988,41112,41105,40419,41135,37125,6366,10102,31219,8093,41164) ORDER BY sticky DESC, lastpost DESC; MySQL Error : Table './cotille_forum/post' is marked as crashed and last (automatic?) repair failed Error Number : 144 Request Date : Sunday, December 27th 2009 @ 11:39:39 PM Error Date : Sunday, December 27th 2009 @ 11:39:39 PM Script : http://www.cotilleando.com/forumdisplay.php?f=6 Referrer : http://www.cotilleando.com/ IP Address : 74.47.173.149 Username : ExT Classname : vB_Database MySQL Version : 5.0.85-community Code:

You post table has crashed. Go to Maintenance > Repair/Optimize > select the post table > repair/optimize. You may have to do this a couple of times until it says everything is OK.

Actually, there should only be one "post" table.
But, the new issue is a server issue. See this page in the manual - Common MySQL Error Messages |

Thanks lynne, will post again if that worked, ftp is not working atm.
--------------- Added [DATE]1261982926[/DATE] at [TIME]1261982926[/TIME] --------------- Guess what, the line of code $config['MasterServer']['usepconnect'] = 0; was already in there :P. |

Then you'll have to talk to your host about it. However, if it only happened this one time because you were fixing the database, then I wouldn't worry about it. But, if you continue to get the error, you should talk to your host.
