Best way to make the CMS as the home page
I've always had a index.html page linked to the forum home, but since I've upgraded to 4.0, I'd like for the CMS to be the home page.
I basically want this... http://www.custompaintforum.com/forum/ to show up here... http://www.custompaintforum.com/ How do I go about doing this? I tried uploading all forum files in the root, but the CSS does not seem to be right. I changed the path in the config file and the main URL in the CP Options. I also cleared cookies, logged out and in, and it still doesn't seem right Did I miss a URL somewhere? I also tried just remapping the domain directly to the forum directory, but this also did not work. I'd rather not just put a redirect tag on the current index page. Thanks in advance! |

Thank you for the reply...I figured it out earlier today...for some reason the vBulletin_3_Silver in the cpstyles did not download. Don't know why it didn't download with the rest of the folders/files.

Was going to say taht vb made a index.php to give a workaround for / and /forum but they way ppl really want it like cms in / and forum in /forum and blog in /blog is still not here so many asked to fix this from beta to release but still nothing. You need to look at vb.com http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/proje...?issueid=32029 for the workaround.
