Moving forum to subdomain

What has to be done in order to properly move a forum to a subdomain?

For example, moving myforum.com to myforum.community.com

I know how to create the subdomain and redirect the domain and such but what about the database and links posted in the forum that points to the old domain?

set the forum URL to your subdomain.
