ok i have this php code snippet that works, i consider the nornal way. this code does not work when i add it as php in the plugin manager. i get parse errors mostly as i edit it. first whats the difference. second where can i read more?? |

That is not php, that is html. So, you can't add it to some php widget as is. You would need to write it to a variable and then spit the variable out in the widget (or use some other php 'command' to spit it out).

odd cause i put that in a set of body tags and it works perfectly as a widget.
the widget section must be different enough that it works. ok back to my reading. |

Of course it does. body tags are html. You are putting html inside html, so it should work just fine.
