Read Don's blog entries and download the StyleVar Dictionary and the Skinning guide: vB4: Skinning Your Forum in 10 Easy Steps and StyleVar Visual Dictionary for Forum, Blog, and CMS (PDF Documents)

Either use the Stylevar to change the Titleimage, image path, or simply right click on the Vbulletin logo and find the image location of it. by default it's

root/images/misc/vbulletin4_logo.png

You can then make your new logo and name it vbulletin4_logo.png and upload it to root/images/misc

I would advise you look at the Stylevars though as they are really easy to use and give you more flexibility, ie: you won't have to use a .png file you can use whatever you like, .jpg, .gif, ect, ect although I can't think why anybody would want to use .gif or .jpg over .png tbh.

The most important reason for using the stylevars instead of just copying a custom image (reusing the same default file name) is that, every time you have to apply an upgrade, you won't run the risk of accidentally copying over your custom image.

Okay, so changing the titleimage variable is pretty straightforward.... but how do I change the logo used on the CMS? I've dug and dug and dug for that. I have a hard time understanding why vbulletin wouldn't think that we would *our* logo on *our* site...... what a concept.

in the default theme you can change the image. it appears the cms logo doesn't get changed when using a different theme.

You need to set the layout for the cms isn the section manager. Hover your mouse over the section title and you will see a pencil pop up. Click it and then you can edit which style is used.
