announcement problems...
Hello guys, i currently have vbulletin 3.8.4 installed and i got a small
problem with the announcements. Instead of displaying the announcements like that: Announcement: Title Date Username (Usertitle) It is displaying the Announcement like that: Announcement: Title Date Username ( Usertitle ) How can i fix that ? also i want that announcements will be displayed like my first example. Posted it in the Discuss section before but didnt got any answer :/ Also would be nice if any1 knows and would tell me in wich template this stuff is placed (also the displaying of the Announcements) Thanks in afore for your help and answers :> |

Moved to vB3 forums.
To find the template to modify, do this - vboptions > General Settings > Add Template Name in HTML Comments > set to Yes . Then go back to your page and view the source code and you will see the name of the template called around your part of the code. Sometimes the template is the one mentioned at the very top of the page source. |

Thanks for the help i found the Template and also the Code.
[S] Code:
<a href="member.php?$session[sessionurl]u=$announcement[userid]">$announcement[username]</a> <if condition="$announcement['usertitle'] != ''">($announcement[usertitle])</if> Thats the Code. But its wired i cant see anything that would set the usertitle below the "(" i mean thats the code for displaying -> ($announcement[usertitle]) And i also dont have any tag that would go to the next line in the Usertitle settings like <br> or sh. I just use div style there for the colored usernames (also just using color...). Does anyone know whats wrong ? :/ Edit: Fixed, somehow the div style gave this issue, it was gone while using bb code |
