Smilies not showing up correctly
Since I have upgraded to VB4 RC2 I am having problems with the smilies. When you go to post a new thread/pms or reply smilies are showing up as BB Code to the right. Shown in images below:
Attachment 107469 Attachment 107470 I have hundreds of smilies and was trying to do this so as not to have to change the path for each one. Where do I put: Code:
UPDATE smilie set smiliepath=replace(smiliepath, 'http://www.yoursite.com/forums/images/', 'images/') |

I finally figured out why it was not working. I don't have my forum in a "forums" folder. I have it on the domain itself. So I needed to run it like this:
Code:
UPDATE smilie set smiliepath=replace(smiliepath, 'http://www.yoursite.com/images/', 'images/') |

What file did you have to edit? I have the same problem.

He edited the database. There are a couple of threads on vb.com about this - you should look over there for help with this issue.

Gr, I was stupid enough to do the "yoursite" part of the code and not change it. My images on the right now have a link looking like this;
Code:
http://www.nbadimensions.net/forums/http://www.nbadimensions.net/forums/http://www.yoursite.com/images/smilies/iono.gif Code:
UPDATE smilie set smiliepath=replace(smiliepath, 'http://www.nbadimensions.net/forums/http://www.nbadimensions.net/forums/http://www.yoursite.com/images', 'images/') |

That looks OK to me.

Weird, still coming up with this link:
Code:
http://www.nbadimensions.net/forums/http://www.nbadimensions.net/forums/http://www.yoursite.com/images/smilies/Cry.gif |

Your code should be as follows. Code:
UPDATE smilie set smiliepath=replace(smiliepath, 'http://www.nbadimensions.net/forums/images/', 'images/') |
