I'd check your error_logs (if you don't know where they are, ask your host).
Here is a page from the manual about troubleshooting blank or 'white' pages: http://www.vbulletin.com/docs/html/blank_pages |

None of the above helped me..
Error logs didnt show any errors.. and the manual step by step also didnt do the trick. its only the forum.php which doesnt show up. .. when i go to a showthread.php it works fine. |

No errors at all in the error_log? So your host doesn't use the error_log at all?
Are you making sure to install vb4 mods to your forums? (I know it sounds like a stupid question, but someone posted in one of my vb4 mod threads that they tried to install it on their vb3 forum and took the site down, so it does happen!) |

We have our own server, so the error.log isnt that hard to find .. but i doublechecked it and it doesnt report any errors for vb4.. i tried Members who have visited.. and this is what it says in de admincp ... >> Members who have Visited 4.0.0.22 Display members who have visited the forum. <<
when i enable it.. the forum homepage goes blank. We have not yet put it open for our members.. they still see vb3.8.* ..we have another homepage where we installed version 3.* inserted the database...upgraded it to version 4.. Did the nessacary actions to get it running.. use the default template.. but still white.. We are really puzzled by that one. |

Try putting this in your config.php file and see if anything shows on that page:

Hi ...Problem solved..
Because of the upgrade there where somehow old version plugins still in the plugin system.. i removed all plugins (who where disabled)... and re-installed the ones i needed.. When i re-installed it..somehow he showed also the old version products.. i removed that 2. and the new ones i kept as enabled...and it worked. Then i re-installed the shoutbox.. and even that worked great.. @ Lynne.. Thanks for thinking with me.. |
