Masking a phone number?

Every once in a while I see a member post their phone number in a thread. While we are able to catch this most times and remove it, is there a way I can set up v-bulletin to strip a phone number out? Thank you.

There is no default option in vbulletin that will do this. I imagine you could write some code to check for a regular expression in the message and strip it out. You'd want to check a post after editing also. I don't know how easy or hard that would be for you.

Just post a notice telling people to not post private info.
