Let It Snow.
So, you want Javascript snow on your web site, eh?
What It does
Snowstorm is a Javascript-driven snow effect that can be easily added to web pages. It is free for use, and easy to set up. A single Javascript file provides the functionality required. No images are used for the snow effect.
How to Use
Add this to your Header Template or Headinclude Template or ForumHome Template (It only then displays it on your index page )
<!-- now, we'll customize the snowStorm object -->
<script type="text/javascript">
snowStorm.snowColor = '#99ccff'; // blue-ish snow!?
snowStorm.flakesMaxActive = 96; // show more snow on screen at once
snowStorm.useTwinkleEffect = true; // let the snow flicker in and out of view
</script>
Snowstorm works under most of the old major browsers (IE 5.x+, Netscape 6+) as well as IE 6, 7, 8, Firefox, Safari and Opera, and the iPhone. If you are seeing snow as you read this, then the script is working as expected.

That being said does anyone know how to remove the exploding lights in the java script.
I really like the lights but, for the life of me cannot figure out how to remove exploding script without screwing it all up.
Suggestions?
So if you knew about it why did you not reference it then and use the code for the lights as an add-on to that per say? Sort of like another mod of yours I saw on here that is a copy or "mistaken" duplicate even though you noted there was a similar mod *not quite identical yet you never linked to it either :erm: ? It's just making me think you know of these mods but don't want to give credit where it's due... it's the barber shop principle imo i.e. whoever was in here first is next in line... same principle basically he posted it first link to his thread and don't have two similar mods that are not quite identical otherwise I should just go copy some others mods, change one line of code or add in a feature and get more installs?
It's not about numbers or getting riled up slightly in posts no matter how I meant it or you took it it's about doing what's right.
