Nice contrasting colors, easy to read

Meta keywords and meta description are good

Quote:
<meta name="keywords" content="business meet, business networking, meeting, growing biz" />
<meta name="description" content="A community to meet new business people and discuss business worldwide" />
In the BusinessMeet Marketplace - I would suggest a place to swap items, or a place for people to post that they are looking for reviewers, contacts,,,,.

Lets say that you have a small business that makes camping gear. How about place for that company to post that they are looking to send out some test samples for reviews. The people that want the sample can then post their qualifications, such as whether they have a forum, popular blog, youtube channel,,,,, to post the review on.
.
~~Example~~

I have a youtube channel with over 12,000 subscribers, my forum has 1.1 million post, has over 25,000 members, gets 3.5 - 3.6 million page views monthly, my monthly newsletter goes out to around 20,000 forum mebmers,,,,,, and I want to do reviews of camping, hiking, hunting,,,, products.

Where would I post that on your forum?

Overall, I think you are off to a good start.

The look is very clean and simplistic. Very nice IMO
There are a few links which are not working though: Calculators and Meetings. The "Networking" link shows an invalid forum error. You might also consider making an custom about.php page for your "About" page. You might also consider making your logo tagline text "DOING BUSINESS THE RIGHT WAY" a bit darker and more prominent. Anyway - just nitpicking I suppose lol - but overall - a really nice, clean & easy-navigational style. Congrats, Good job and good luck with it

Jacquii.

It is clean and it is simple, but why stop at a header and css? Carry that simplicity into your templates. Get out of the stock vBulletin look and get unconventional. Also, I think a homepage is definitely needed for this website. The logo is decently simple, but the slogan is hard to read.

I'm not sure if a chatbox is ever the right route to go with a professional website, as it always looks rather juvenile to me. I'm sorry to differ from other's opinions, but i find this website just as easy to navigate as any other vB website, nothing in the navbar or user interface has changed, and that's what will set you aside from other's and complete that modern, clean look you are going for.

Great forum setup and great categories. I would just suggest more content and perhaps different formats for different forums. For example, maybe an article forum will suffice in some areas. The calendar, faq, etc, do you plan on using those? I see a lot of people leave those links intact but don't ever use them or even plan on it. Maybe a new navigation bar is in need?

I think the postbit deserves large fonts, perhaps a bit of format changing and a change of color from that dark gray heading bar (not saying to change that element globally, but just on the postbit).

Since this is going to be a place for business-related networking, how about some custom profiles with a few business-related incentives and references? I also see you have a few dead links (studios, videos, etc.), hopefully you will do some great things there.

All-in-all, it's a work in progress and progress is indeed being made
