No. Common senses dictates that if you found something beneficial then the person will post a thankyou in the way of a reply (which most people do).

No. Some people would love to play with it and will go around each mod to post thanks lol.
Also, I am sure post_thanks table won't take more than a week at this site to occupy over a GB of db space. So technically, its not worth it. |

Just enable the Reputation system. Allow users to disable their rep like vb.com

I don't see a reason for it. When I want to thank someone, I thank them. Typing a thanks seems better to me than allowing someone to just click a button to say it.
